The service is awesome, the location right on the Oswaldsgarten is ideal, with the small back courtyard and the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the shop you are in a quiet oasis despite the absolutely central location. The coffee selection is mega and delicious, the waffles are great and so are the toasts. You can drink great cocktails there, have breakfast or take one of the board games there. I like to go there regularly and can only recommend it.

Just great for relaxing, chatting and reading.

Regularly there since 2014/2015, very large selection of drinks, employees as always very nice, even those who are new. We always respond to requests without being annoyed because of extra requests ?, unfortunately the café has always been full in recent years, but with the atmosphere, the service and the delicious coffee this is understandable :)

Really nice little shop and now the preferred address for a cozy coffee when visiting Gießen. Everything somehow always in order and tasty on my irregular visits. Deductions that I would give are too strong in the subjective area to allow them to be included in a fair evaluation (I should not go to a small coffee bar in Gießen to complain about the somewhat narrow shop or the likeable student-like atmosphere).

Toast Hawaii with cranberries & Rocher Macchiato. Both super delicious :) nice waiters and pleasant atmosphere! Certainly not the last time here!

I heard they make fairly good coffee, but as a chai latte fan, I have to say I´m really disappointed. Paying 4€ to have them mix the same instant powder you have at home with some milk is just cheap, especially when there are other small coffee shops nearby that make their own chai. The ambiente is nice, but they won´t see me again

Rustic cafe with a very large selection of coffee, tea and other milk drinks. There are also a few little things to eat. Lovingly made waffles or hearty toasts. There is also outdoor seating, a smoking area (ibid) and on-site board games. Prices are top and the service very friendly. Highly recommended and centrally located in the Giessen city center!

The food tasted good, but service was terrible. I ordered breakfast with coffee and my girlfriend ordered waffles with coffee. The coffees and breakfast came fast but the waffles came 30 minutes later and only after I reminded them, by which time the coffee was gone and the breakfast cold.
